Demetri Goritsas is a Canadian-American actor.
From Greek and Norwegian parentage, Goritsas was born in Eugene, Oregon, USA, grew up in British Columbia and has lived his adult life in London. Goritsas was educated at Prince George Secondary School, Prince George, British Columbia, Canada.[1]
Early in his career he had minor roles in Saving Private Ryan and Spy Game. He had a starring role in Gallipoli alongside Jeremy Irons in 2005, and recently appeared briefly as the father of Jack Harkness (played by John Barrowman) in the British sci-fi series Torchwood. In video games, Goritsas has voiced Bad Hand in Driv3r, protagonist Sgt. Thomas "Sev" Sevchenko in Killzone 2 and protagonist John Tanner in Driver: San Francisco.
